The Populele 2 connects by Bluetooth to your smart phone via an iOS/Android app and provides an interactive experience with the innovative fretboard learning system that “enables users to get instant feedback”. The system teaches by having the user correct their finger position and strumming technique while playing along with the app’s lessons and songs. It even guides you through tuning the instrument.

The construction of the Populele 2 is as impressive as its functionality. The body is made from carbon fiber reinforced composite material which provides years of strength, weather resistance and makes for a louder sonic output compared to inferior wood ukuleles. It also features fluorocarbon strings, compensated bone saddle for proper intonation and smooth geared tuners for precise tuning that maintain their hold on the strings.

Capable of 10-hours of continuous playtime using two AAA batteries, the Populele 2 is the most entertaining way to learn the Ukulele. By completely removing the steep learning curve of reading music on your own, Populele helps the player with a comprehensive chord library.

Populele’s intuitive app allows users to select from Learning Model, Game Mode or Dazzle Mode. The learning system uses interactivity of the sound of the Populele being “heard” by the app. When notes/chords are played successfully, the player can continue to the next learning activity.

Game Mode makes learning a fun process by engaging the student to hit the proper notes at the proper time teaching rhythm and proper fingering and the Dazzle Mode lights up the fingerboard randomly to impress your friends. You can even create your own lit fingerboard design pattern.
